Brinley turned 11 months old on the 19th. I can't believe next month she is going to be 1! Seriously where did the time go!

We went up to Flagstaff for a couple of days during Fall Break. The weather was perfect and we all had fun being outside.

Ryan's brother Steven lives in Flagstaff and hung out with us for the day. He took us to this canyon that looks like a chocolate river with chocolate water falls. The boys thought it was pretty cool!

Brinley had fun picking up every rock and stick she could find.

Wyatt tried out for the Alliance All Star team for soccer. He will find out if he made it in a couple of weeks.

I know I haven't updated for a while but my camera broke and I have had to use my video camera to take pictures but I finally got all of them downloaded on my computer.

Brinley just turned 10 months old on the 19th. She is getting too big too fast! She just learned to walk this last week and she thinks she is the coolest thing ever!

Aiden turns 6!

Aiden is turning 6 today. I can't believe he is getting so old! He wanted a watch really bad so that is what he got.

He also got a pair of rollerblades.

This weekend we went up to the snow for the day. Brinley was all bundled up but after about 20 minutes she was done so we sat in the car while the boys played.

4 Months Old

Brinley just turned 4 months old and is getting so big! She just learned how to roll from her back to her tummy, loves to sit in the bumbo, drools like crazy and can fit almost her entire fist into her mouth, and screeches super loud and loves the attention everyone gives her when she does it.

My mom got her this adorable outfit and I had the perfect shoes to match!

She got to try out her swimsuit during spring break when we went to Basha pool. It was a little too cold for the girl but she had fun putting her feet in. She is so much fun but is already getting an attitude by arching her back when she gets mad. I guess the red hair fits her personality!

I made Ryan take a picture of me with all the kids after church last Sunday because I am always taking the picture and am rarely in them. This one turned out pretty good!

Brinley has been smiling like crazy lately so I had to take a bunch of pictures of her in her super cute outfit!

She is getting bigger and bigger everyday. I wish she would slow down a little!

I didn't get any good pictures of Brinley on her blessing day without her crying so today I dressed her all up again and took some really cute ones. I just love her shoes in the top picture!

The only way she let me take her picture was if the binky was in her mouth.

Aiden lost his first tooth this week. It didn't come out on its own because it was ready, he bumped 3 of his bottom teeth on his bunk bed and it knocked them loose. Luckily only one came out. He was so excited for the tooth fairy to come.

Wyatt turned 8 on Sept. 1. Here he is opening presents after his birthday party. He got his very own MP3 player. I don't know why some of my pictures are sideways, I turned them before blogger uploaded them.

This year Wyatt wanted to have his party at Skateland so he invited a couple of friends over to our house for pizza and then we went to Skateland and had cake and opened presents. They all had a lot of fun trying to skate since most of them had never done it before.

Grandma and Papa came over and brought him his present and he was so excited to get The Diary of a Wimpy Kid Journal Book and of course the money.

Ryan got me a sewing machine for my birthday and so I have been trying it out. I made some super simple burp cloths and I think they turned out so cute!

We finally decided on a name for this baby! Her name is going to be Brinley Michelle Cooper. Of course I had to make her some cute letters for her wall. Pretty much her room is all decorated and ready to go.

First Day of School

Wyatt and Aiden started school on Monday. They were so excited to go. The first day we almost missed the bus and they had to run to get on so I didn't get any pictures. These pictures are from this morning. I cannot believe I have a 3rd grader and a kindergartner!

Wyatt has been such a good big brother and has helped Aiden get to where he needs to go.

Last week we took a day trip down to Tucson and went to the Reid Zoo. The boys loved how close all of the animals were.

This zoo was a lot smaller than the Phoenix Zoo but the animals were way more active and you got to be closer up.

Wyatt loved the polar bear. It was so cool to watch him swim laps back and forth. He was so huge. I'm glad that we got to do one last little trip before school started.

Camping and a surprise

We went camping last week up at Bear Canyon Lake and on the way home we stopped at this place called Catch-A-Trout. The boys each got to fish for a trout and then the place cleaned them for us to bring home to cook. They thought it was pretty cool except that they don't want to eat them.

It was nice to get out of the heat for a little while. We camped right by the lake so we got to go fishing a couple of times. We didn't have any luck catching anything though.

Pretty soon there is going to be a lot of pink around our house! We found out that we are expecting a girl. The boys are so excited to have a little sister to play with. Of course I had to go right out and buy something pink for her.

We are excited to announce that we are pregnant with baby #3! I am due around December 2nd. To tell Ryan's family, Aiden wore this "I'm the big brother" shirt that Wyatt got when Aiden was born. Wyatt says he wants a little sister but Aiden wants a little brother. I guess we'll see!

A few months ago we made this planter (with the help of our brother in law Jason) and we finally have plants growing. This is our zucchini and it is getting huge!

The rest of the garden is slowly getting bigger too.

Aiden turned 5 on April 13th. He had his birthday party at Golfland.

Everybody got to goofy golf. It was pretty funny watching a bunch of 3, 4, and 5 year olds try to golf but they all had a good time.

Wyatt has gotten a few double plays this season as well as a grand slam.

We only have a few more weeks of baseball left and are looking forward to school getting out and for summer to begin.

Disneyland Fun and More

Since blogger uploaded my pictures in random order I'll have to start from the most recent. Ryan's birthday was on Monday and since the boys didn't have school he took the day off. We decided to have a picnic and hike at Usery Park. It was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect. Wyatt had a hard time getting up to the top and we couldn't slow Aiden down.

When we got to the top of the mountain there were squirrels everywhere. They kept coming really close to us. The boys were loving it.

When we went on our trip to Disneyland we went down to Carlsbad and went to the beach. It was rainy and cold but that didn't stop the boys from playing out there.

We saw all of these sea lions laying out on the beach. The boys thought that was cool.
We drove down the Pacific Beach Highway on our way home and since it was raining too hard to be outside we stopped in La Jolla and went to an aquarium.
They had some pretty crazy fish there.

When we were still in Carlsbad on the beach the boys made sand castles and looked for shells. They both got pretty wet. Aiden didn't mean to get so wet but a wave got him all the way up to his chest. Not long after that we had to go in and change before they froze!
Wyatt and Aiden thought the Jedi Training at Disneyland was the coolest thing ever. You have to be called out of the audience and then you get to go up and wear the robes and have a lightsaber. They teach you how to fight with the lightsaber and then you get to fight Darth Vader.

As soon as we got into the park Wyatt got picked out of a group to dance with the band and the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. He was so embarrassed! It was the best trip ever! The park was so slow and we got to go on every single ride a ton of times. The boys were in pure Heaven!

Toasted Marshmallow Milkshake

I was looking through this cookbook the other day and found a toasted marshmallow milkshake and had to try it. It was devine and is super easy to make! All you do is toast 9 marshmallows on a cookie sheet under the broiler until really toasted. Then put in a blender with 1/4 cup milk and blend for 5 seconds. Then you add 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream and blend for like 20 seconds. This is only enough for 1 milkshake so you'll need to double it. Once you try it you will be hooked!

Catch up

I have a lot of catching up to do since I'm so far behind. To start off with, I won this awesome blendtec blender on www.ourbestbites.com. I just got it yesterday and we had to try it out. This blender is not an ordinary blender! It makes soft serve ice cream in like 45 seconds, it makes bread dough, pancake batter and a ton of other things. I could not believe I won it!

We had a good Christmas and we all made a haul! The boys both got cardinals hats and they were so cute wearing them I had to get a picture.

This was the boys opening their presents from Santa Claus. They didn't get a whole lot this year because Santa was very generous and is taking us all to DISNEYLAND!

Of course they had to have a Mickey Mouse shirt!

I don't think it really sank in that we were going at first but everyday they ask how many days until we go to Disneyland. It is going to be so fun for Aiden because this time he can ride all the big kid rides.

I know I am a little late posting about Christmas but I had to put up these cute pictures of Aiden at his Christmas program for preschool. They sang a couple of songs and had a visit from Santa.

They got to play the triangle and wear different props for each song.

Latest Happenings

I saw a version of these frames on a craft blog. I can't remember the name of it but I had to make some for my kitchen. I absolutely love them! They would be even cuter if I could paint my walls.

Here they are up close. They were so simple to make too.

Aiden had a Thanksgiving feast and program at Preschool yesterday. They wore Pilgrim vests they made and sang a few songs. Aiden would not sing a single word but at least he did most of the actions. I think he has stage fright!

Soccer season is officially over. The boys got their trophies and had their end of the season parties. I can't wait to have more free time especially on Saturday mornings.

Halloween Fun

For Halloween Ryan's family came over to eat and go trick or treating. The kids all had a fun time trick or treating. Wyatt couldn't get to each house fast enough! Aiden was done about half way through and wanted to help pass out candy.

Little Devil

Finding this devil costume at World Market for 50% off made my day! It took alot of work to get him to look at the camera!

This is what he did the entire time. He turned his head and stuck his nose up in the air.

It didn't last very long! He couldn't wait to get it off. But it was just too cute to resist!

Grand Canyon and more...

This weekend for Fall Break we went to the Grand Canyon. The weather was perfect and it was so pretty seeing all the leaves falling off the trees and changing colors. There are alot of pictures and they are in random order! This picture is of Aiden at Montezuma's Well. We stopped at a few landmarks on the way home.

This is a picture of all of us at Bedrock City. We just happened to see it on the way to the Grand Canyon and stopped on the way back to Flagstaff. It wasn't too exciting but the kids had fun running around.

Me and my boys at the Grand Canyon. I think they were annoyed that I was so paranoid about them being by the edge of the Canyon. I made them hold hands with one of us everytime they got near the ledges.

We went to the Grand Canyon Deer Farm and fed the deer. Aiden really liked it but Wyatt didn't want to feed them or get near them. Wyatt did like the parrot that said hello and polly want a cracker!

The deer were right up by you especially when you had the cup of food.

Boards and ASU game

Ryan and his dad had season tickets for ASU for the past couple of years but this year they decided not to renew so we have been having his family over to watch the games at our house. I saw these sundevil tattoos at the store and had to get them for the party. Aiden's face is really red because we get sunburned from their soccer games earlier in the day.

They thought they were so cool with them on!

This time for the game we ordered a 4 foot long sub from Ned's Krazy Sub and the boys wanted me to get a picture of them by it. They couldn't believe how big it was! I love how Aiden is posing like a football player in this picture. He just did it all by himself!

A little while ago I got together with some friends and made these cute boards. My friend Heather has them on her wall and I had to copy them because they were so darn cute! I finally finished them and had to show them off. I still am waiting for Ryan and I to get our picture done for our board.

I am not the craftiest person ever but I think they turned out pretty good.

SOCCER CONTINUED

The boys had their second soccer games today. They did so awesome! Aiden had his game at 10 and Wyatt had his game at 12 so it was a long, hot day. I also had snack for both teams. Here is Wyatt resting between the games. We had about an hour until Wyatt's game started. I didn't get any pictures of his game because I was too busy cheering him on. He got 4 goals and almost had 4 or 5 more! Ryan told them that for every goal they got he would give them a dollar so they were trying extra hard!

I can't wait to see how they do next week. Ryan actually gets to come see both of their games! I am so proud of them both!

Soccer Season

Soccer season has finally begun! Aiden has been talking about it for months now that he is old enough to play. They are not on the same team but ended up with the same team colors and pretty much the same team names. Aiden's team is the bumble bees and Wyatt's team is the stingers.

I wasn't sure how Aiden would do at his first game but he was pretty aggressive and took charge! He made 2 goals! He was so excited!

BBQ in the backyard

Yesterday for Labor day the boys and I wanted to go to the movies and see Up but the lines were out the door. We were no where near the ticket window when we heard that Up and Night at the Museum were sold out. The boys were dissapointed but nothing that a frosty from Wendy's couldn't fix! For dinner we had hot dogs and the boys wanted to eat outside so we ate in the backyard and set the table up like we were camping. Of course we had to make smores for dessert!

WyAtT's BiRtHdAy

Today is Wyatt's 7th Birthday! He looked so handsome in his new shirt before school so I had to get a picture. I can't believe I have a child this old!

He opened up his presents from us before he went to school. I didn't realize this picture looks so funny because the light reflecting from the box. He was so happy to finally get a rechargable remote control car. He also got a bike ramp, a magnetic dart board and a skateboard that does tricks, it is kinda like the tech deck skateboards.

He got an awesome build your own skateboard. It comes with 2 decks, 2 sets of wheels, stickers, and pads. I knew he would love it!

This year Wyatt had his birthday party at Peter Piper Pizza. He was so excited because the birthday boy got 500 tickets and 80 tokens. I accidently planned his party on the day of our ward campout so some of his friends weren't able to go but he still had a great time.

Family Night

I have always wanted a fire pit for our backyard so when I saw one for 50% off at Fry's marketplace I had to get it. So we had family night outside by the fire and roasted marshmallows. The kids were in pure heaven! They would eat them all if I let them.

Aiden thought it was fun to get his marshmallow on fire but he wouldn't eat them. Coney had a great time eating them off the ground.

homemade hot pockets

I found this recipe for homemade hot pockets from http://www.ourbestbites.com/ and they are soooo good! All you do is thaw out Rhodes frozen bread dough, roll it out and cut it into 8 equal pieces. Then you put 2 slices of ham and sprinkle some monterey jack or other cheese on top and then roll the left side over and the right side over that and then roll them up. Bake them for 15 min. at 425 degrees. After they cool just freeze them. When you want to eat them just reheat in the microwave for like 30 seconds. You can also eat them at room temp. I plan on putting them in Wyatt's lunch for school. He loved them and he is the pickiest kid ever!

Today was the first day of school for Wyatt and Aiden. Can you believe that I have a second grader? Where did the time go! Wyatt was so excited. He has a really nice teacher that we are really happy with so far and lots of friends in his class.

Aiden started preschool again today. He loves his teachers Mrs. Webb and Mrs. Brown. They are Ryan's aunt and cousin and they do such a good job. Aiden was dressed and ready to go to school with his backpack on at 8 this morning. School doesn't even start until 10:45. He had a really fun first day!

New baby cousins

We have had two new baby nieces born in the last month. My sister Jaime had her baby at the end of June. They named her Caitlin Marie Ashlock. Isn't she cute?

My sister in law Christine had her baby this morning so we got to go down to the hospital to meet her. She was 9 lbs. 5 oz. and was 21.5 in. long. She had the chubbiest cheeks and lots of dark hair. They named her Annie Kay Koppert. We are so excited to have another cousin on Ryan's side.

The boys love holding babies and are so excited to babysit them sometime!

Fossil Creek

This week we took a day trip up to Fossil Creek. It wasn't too much cooler up there but the water was cold and crystal clear. You could see lots of fish swimming all around and Ryan and Aiden even saw a turtle swimming.

Wyatt was worried the fish were going to nibble on him so he would not go in the water. We got him in to see the blackberry bushes on the other side of the creek but he had to ride on Ryan's back. He still cried about getting only his feet and legs wet! Notice in the picture how he has his hands and feet up in the air!

Wyatt spent a lot of time finding cool rocks and leaves. He was hoping to find some frogs but no such luck.

We spotted this rope swing as soon as we got there. It was so much fun! Aiden loved it!

The water was really cold so for the first swing Aid rode on Ryan's back across.

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July. They boys and I went and saw The Hannah Montana movie during the day while Ryan was at work. They both loved it! Yes, my boys love Hannah Montana and so do I! Then after Ryan got off we went to Schnepf farms and saw the fireworks. I think I would have enjoyed them more if it wasn't so darn hot!

The boys had these sticker tattoo's but Aiden didn't want to wear his for very long. Wyatt thought it was pretty cool!

Skateland

We went to Skateland this week with my sister and two of her kids. It was so fun! My boys had a blast and keep asking everyday when they can go back. Here is Aiden, Wyatt, Hailee, and Noah.

It took Aiden a while to get used to skating and by the end he was going around by himself just like the rest of us!

Wyatt went to Skateland with a friend a little while back so he knew how to skate pretty well but secretly I think he thought it was cool to crash! He has a huge bruise on his knee to prove it!

The Greatest Show on Earth

For father's day, Ryan's mom and stepdad Randy got him tickets for us all to go to the circus. The kids were so excited and so was I since we have never been before. Ryan went when he was younger. This was at the beginning of the show. We had awesome seats in the 2nd row!

They did all kinds of flips and tricks on these ropes made of fabric. It was pretty cool!

The crazy boys!

My favorite part was the elephants. They did some crazy things especially since they are such huge animals! I also loved how they kept telling them to hold on to each others tails with their trunks when they walked.

They were balancing on their front feet and their trunks!

It was cool how the elephants kind of flung these girls up on their backs with their trunks and then they stood on these stools.

The tigers were awesome too. I kind of feel bad for them but it was amazing to watch.

The circus was so much fun and the kids loved it. Wyatt really liked when the girls were shot out of the cannon. Next time the circus is in town we will have to go again.

Garden and Target deals

The boys and I have been so excited that the fruits and vegetables that we planted are actually growing! This is Aiden's watermelon plant. It was growing so big that we had to take it out of the pot and plant it in the ground. There were a bunch of them but ever since we replanted them they have mysteriously disappeared except for this one.

Wyatt planted sugar snap peas and they are getting so tall! Hopefully we'll get some peas soon.

This is Wyatt's cabbage plant that he started growing at school and it is huge. I would eat it but I'm not a huge fan of cabbage.

I planted some basil and it is doing so well that we have already used some in our pasta this week! It was so good!

Also I went to Target today to get some of this weeks good deals. Here is what I got-

I bought (7) eggo bake shop products for $1.50 each and (4) bare solo products for $1.50 each. The bare solo products are normally $2.79 each. I had 9 $1 off coupons and 2 75 cent off coupons and I only paid only $6.63 for all this stuff!

Bear Canyon Lake

This last weekend we went camping up at Bear Canyon Lake for two nights. Ryan's sister Christine, our brother in law Jason, and their little boy Grant came camping with us for one night. We had a lot of fun and I must say the best tin foil dinners and cobbler ever! These pictures are kind of in random order. Here is Aiden with his goofy grin. Why is it that everytime I ask my kids to smile this is what I get?

We saw this really cool looking butterfly down by the lake.

On one of our hikes we saw this horny toad and had to catch it in a cup. Wyatt thought we were really going to let him bring it home and keep it as a pet even though he was too scared to even hold it for 2 seconds! We took a picture and let the poor thing go.

When we were at the lake the boys wanted to catch crawdads. Ryan wanted to cook them up and eat them!

My sister let us borrow their BB gun. The boys thought that was so awesome! I have to say that I had the best shots out of everyone!

I was a little nervous about letting the boys shoot the BB gun but we were really careful and they never did it alone.

We had so much fun camping. Hopefully we'll get to do it again this summer.

Fire Station Tour

This morning we got to go take a tour of the fire station on Williams Field Road right by our house with a group from our ward. This was our second time doing it and the kids just love it. Aiden is obsessed with fire trucks and always points them out when we are driving.

Every week the kids and I decided that we would make a craft. I saw these wood frames for $1 at Micheal's and so I painted them black and modge podged paper on the front with black vinyl lettering. I think they turned out really cute! ( Sorry it's a little blurry, I was trying to show the pattern on the paper up close)

Now what can I make next?

Strawberry Limeades

I had to post this recipe for strawberry limeades because it was so good! Sprouts has limes 9 for 99 cents and strawberries for 99 cents so I had to run out and get some. Here is the recipe:

1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries
1 cup lime juice
4 cups water
1 1/2 cups sugar

Blend strawberries and lime juice until smooth. Combine strawberry mixture, water, and sugar in a pitcher. Pour over ice.

End of the Year

I can't believe it is already the end of the year and I'm going to have a 2nd grader! This is the boys at Wyatt's water day. I had to take this picture because if you look closely they are holding hands! That is rare around here!

I wasn't able to take very many pictures at water day because it was only about 25 minutes long. Each grade only plays for a half an hour and the kindergartener's got out there late and it cut into their time. At least they had an ice cream party later in the day.

All the 1st graders did a performance and they sang a bunch of songs. For the last song they sang My Wish by Rascal Flatts while there was a slide show. It was really cute!

After their performance we got to go back to their classroom for pictures and to carry their stuff home.

Ryan's mom came to see Wyatt perform and we took more pictures.

The boys and I went to Mother Nature's farm yesterday to pick some peaches. I would not recommend going there for peaches. They had only two rows of peach trees and they were tiny and alot of them were rotting and had bugs on them. But they loved the huge sunflowers so we took some pictures by them.

Wyatt and Aiden had fun at school this year but we are excited for swimming lessons to start, the summer reading programs, the Harkins summer movies, lots more swimming and being lazy!

Update and scrapbooking

I haven't updated much lately because nothing new is going on with us. We are just counting down the days until the boys are done with school. This last week is going to be fun. Wyatt and Aiden both have school performances that I'm excited to see! Wyatt has been practicing his songs all week for it at home. Aiden has preschool graduation and they both have water day on Monday plus an ice cream social. I remember loving the last week of school when I was their age! I can't believe I'm going to have a second grader! Where did the time go?

I took a short break from digital scrapbooking and just these last few days I have gotten back into it and wanted to post some of my really cute pages. Isn't this kit just adorable!

I'll post more pictures of all the boys fun events next week.

My first time sewing

My friend Sarah took a class at Domestic Bliss on how to make A-line skirts and so she's been showing me how to make them. My first skirt didn't turn out like I wanted because I think we measured it wrong but I made this one today and it turned out so cute! I am so proud of myself especially since I have never sewed before in my life! Who knew how easy and inexpensive they were to make! This will be my first of many more skirts!

Aiden's 4th Birthday

Aiden turned 4 on the 13th so we celebrated his birthday on Easter with family and then he wanted his friend Matthew to go to Amazing Jake's. My pictures are not in the order I wanted! I hate how blogger puts your pictures backwards! Anyways, here is Aiden opening his helicopter from Matthew.

Wyatt was so excited to try the rock climbing wall again. (He went a few days earlier for his friends birthday and only made it halfway). He got 3/4 of the way to the top this time!

This is the morning of Aiden's birthday. We got him everything Star Wars. He is really into Star Wars right now so he got the storm trooper helmet, build your own light sabers, star wars leapster game, and a storm trooper nerf gun. He absolutely loves them and will barely put them down!

His grandma and grandpa Tegeler got him the blue bike he's been dreaming of! He wanted a big boy bike like Wyatt. He also got those bike gloves from his Aunt Christine and Uncle Jason. Ryan got some for when he goes mountain biking and Aiden had to have some too.

Easter 2009

We had a really fun and relaxing Easter this year. Not all of our family was able to get together but it was still alot of fun. My mom, dad, my sister Krista and my niece Kirsten.

Easter Pageant

Every year we go to the Easter pageant we get Ned's Crazy Sub and eat it on our blanket in the grass. This year was no different! My pictures got in the wrong order but here is Aiden getting comfy before it starts.

Bike Ride

Ryan and I both got bikes for Christmas and love going on long bike rides with the boys. We started a tradition to go every Sunday afternoon. The boys love finding new places to ride and this time we ended up going 12 miles away to Freestone Park! The boys did a good job and I was suprised they made it without too much complaining! Ryan and Wyatt smiling big for the camera.

It has been perfect weather and we hope it lasts a little longer so we can still go on more bike rides before summer gets here!

Digital Scrapbooking

I love digital scrapbooking! A girl in my ward is teaching a class on how to do it and it is awesome! I don't know why I haven't learned earlier. Here are my first two pages. I think they turned out pretty good since I am still learning everything!

Wyatt started t-ball this week playing with Gilbert Parks and Recreation. He played last year and loved it. He loves any sport! He was a little bit too young to do coach pitch so he's on a team with a lot of younger kids. I don't know how well he's going to like it but I guess we'll see! Coney's New Jacket

So today we went to Petsmart to get ginuea pig and dog food and the boys noticed these jackets that were on clearance for $3. I just had to get one for Coney. Coney is such a baby and shivers in the winter because he gets so cold. A couple of years ago we bought him a sweater and he hated it! He would try and bite it off. This one fits differently so we'll see if he likes it.

Zoo Field Trip

All of the 1st graders at Wyatt's school went to the zoo for their fieldtrip on Tuesday. I couldn't be a chaperone but I went anyways with Aiden and his friend Bryson. We had a lot of fun and the weather couldn't have been better!

Springtime

The boys and I planted some flowers after school today. Aiden got a flower in primary yesterday so when we were at the store we picked up some more to plant.

Wyatt got a cabbage plant at school so we moved it to a larger pot. I can't believe how big it has gotten! He wanted to eat some of it on his dinner the other day!
